How are you? I am really enjoying school so far and swimming is awesome. But, you know what I also like to do? I like to go outside and enjoy the cool, crisp fall weather. Speaking of Fall, this weekend I went to a Pumpkin Farm with PJ and my friends Belle and Hannah. But funny thing…we didn’t actually buy any pumpkins. There were so many other awesome things to do and see! When I think about it, it was kind of like a carnival/Pumpkin Patch, because there were games, rides, food and, of course, pumpkins for sale.
First, we went to “The Haunted Barn’. Spooky, right!? To tell the truth, it wasn’t that scary. Only one thing actually scared me and that was the zombie head that popped out at me. After that we had some lunch and walked around a little bit. Then we went to the corn pit. It was a huge wooden box filled to the brim with dried corn kernels! It felt really weird to sit in corn. See for yourself. Fun, right?
That was fun, but the best part of the day was when we saw an actual PIG RACE! We sat in the bleachers while farmers told us about the pigs. One of them was named “Hamma Montana” and another one was “Taylor not so Swift”. I thought those names were hilarious! What do you think? We had a blast watching those pigs run around the track for treats. Well they didn’t really run, but speed walked. That was one of those things that I will remember for a long time.
Before we left, we bought an ICEE treat! I love ICEEs. Just not all the time.
It’s time for me to go to bed, so bye!
Fun Fact about me: Did you know that the meaning of my name is Park Keeper? I thought that was cool.
